u can buy a X360 for like 30k Rs here neda? u cant get that kinda gaming on a similar priced Pc.

But if you look at me, I will need to buy a new TV as well (because our TV is 20 years old - but still crisp quality and perfectly operational; just that it doesn't have all those ports)

a simple RF converter would do the trick.. and u can always hook it up with the PC monitor

yeah.. even if u haver the chip downloading the newest games from this 512 k would be a pain in the ass...

Ports problem is not the only problem.
Watching TV from close up is BAD!

Besides you have a monitor = you already have a PC. It will come down to the point where whether 30000 console is better than a 30000 VGA. I would personally go for PC gaming because it is much easier and gives a cheaper feeling. Eg: you can't play games when everyone is watching TV. I don't like the controllers of consoles.....etc. etc.

contorler problem is not a problem .. u can hook it up to a WASD USB keyboard and mouse anytime.(for FPS's) but using the controller for other games is much batter than using the keyboard.

and tell me a plce u can buy a good blu ray DVD player for 30k

No problem for me. I haven't rented or purchased a DVD since February last year. DivX/XviD FTW! (our standalone DVD player has DivX/XviD support ) And we don't have 5.1 speakers - not for the DVD player; not for the PC

ps 3 is nearly $ 900 here........mm too expensive for me....

so... is that better to buy wi fi game console.....it is around 400....
