Your heart will convict you when you have made a sinful mistake or when you are willfully sinning. Sometimes we can delude ourselves into thinking that we have not sinned or that we don’t need to ask for forgiveness for petty sins. The truth is that grace covers all sin but even for minor sins we need to ask forgiveness from God. Because Jesus paid the price for sin when we sin after we’ve been saved we still need to ask for forgiveness because this is a whole new sin Jesus is paying for.</blockquote>
