Racing driver killed in mishap at N’Eliya
Racing driver Dilshan Bandaranayake was killed on the spot due to a mishap at the annual Nuwara Eliya Road Race meet this afternoon. Dilshan met with his death when his car collided with another racing driver Ajith Hemachandra’s Austin Mini when negotiating a bend approaching the Nanu Oya road. Meanwhile Ajith Hemachandra who was badly injured is being rushed to the Colombo hospital.
