I read your p2p link. Now you are describing it here haha. Man why can’t you remember what I said previously. I told you to start a new thread for those opinions and I told you why you should not post them here. Now you are doing it again. Whats the meaning of this?

Haha I am really sad about your knowledge with RIAA and US hosting. Bro they can’t easily sue us coz we are not hosting any files. And this is an open discussion forum so people can post links without our knowledge. And there is a legal agreement they accept when a member signup with the site. Then tell me why rapidshare not gonna get sue when they host almost 50% illegal materials

I have no wonder about why you can’t understand the example I gave you. Haha you are asking lich about LTTE and music pirates are same hahaha
So I have no worry about you can’t understand what we are doing to help srilankan artists. Haha that’s okay bro I know your status.;)

Haha as you said if most of the people gonna buy the album then why there should be free music sharing? Coz people don’t know how to make mp3s from original CDs? Ha ha
As that P2P article say why artists & record companies should try so hard to implement such system to get at least some revenue if most of the people buying CDs? Haha
Man don’t live in dreams come down to earth. Lets say I legally allow people to download/collect Ranidu’s Album for Rs 200/- while album costs Rs 500/- in shops. In the same time some other well known srilankan site give the whole album for free.
So according to you, majority of people will Pay Rs 200/- and buy it while that pirate site waiting for few clicks? Nice dream!
what do you mean? you wanna move this discussion to a new thread? well ok no problem... see i have no intention starting a new thread... its boring! if you want you can move this discussion to a new thread right?(duh you are the Admin!)

and bro, do you know that RS is been sued in germany as we talk? there are intenational laws on copyright shit.. so they can just sue you for almost anything... sometimes even for linking stuff... now you know that torrent trackers get sued? and there have been cases where trackers have been shutdown by the law enforcement people.... when they loose the case in the court... ex: supernova ... and trackers don't host any data them selfvs so according to you they cannot be sued??? its sad and i totally hate this bullshit copyright law suits... they are not natural.. i mean copying stuff is human nature you can't stop it.

people who buy CDs do still buy them, at least most of em. the RIAA is faking losses. and they are loosing biusness due to other factors(such as increased DVD sales, so people don't have much money for music... etc)

no people will obviously download it for free! but downloading something is different from getting the original album from the shop. its different. it have its own feeling! do you feel like you buyed the album when you download it? even with the covers and all that? no, at least i don't feel like that! and thats my point. when you listen to music or when you enjoy someone's artistic creations, you get the feeling that you want to give him something... naturally... its the human way.. now not all people feel like that but most of the people do. so thats how artists have survived for all this time... they didn't survive because of copyright laws!

and you can never say that people who download it for free will buy the tracks if they can't get it for free...

Why can’t you remember what I told you before in this thread, post your vision or opinions about copyright law in another thread. But not in a thread where someone has done something which break rules. You are welcome to post your views and changes you like to see in copyright law in new thread, but we are taking action according to current standards so this is not the place to post your vision or dreams, Just simply start a new thread!

About lawsuits anyone can file a lawsuit against anything, so its about how you prove your point. Anyway RS hosting the files directly, Torrent tracks also giving connection information to the peers and intentionally supporting the illegal file sharing in well organized way. But in our scenario we are not supporting any illegal file sharing. Not letting even a 1KB file to download or intentionally support the sharing network. We are an open discussion forum. And our vision, goals not anywhere near that.

Copying stuff is human nature so we should not stop it? haha nice idea man.
Then there is no world, why holding patents? Why need of copyrights? You can make jokes in the ElaKiri Jokes section

I don’t know how true you saying your self about listing to music. haha But don’t think everyone is like you. As I said before if all of them were like you then copyright laws not even exist now.
