Second, to install a parliamentary system of government, which will have a majority of UNP MPs. Third, I hope to function as Executive Prime Minister," opposition leader was quoted.</p><p></p><p>When questioned why the opposition party has not fielded its own candidate Wickremasinghe has told the Sunday Leader that they are supporting the General to abolish the Executive Presidency once he became the Executive President.</p><p></p><p>"We have not fielded someone outside the UNP.
