Leader of opposition and UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said a short while ago that his party is ready to support the government to deliver the country from international pressure and to find a political solution to the national issue.
Speaking during a ceremony held in Colombo to commemorate former Minister V.A Sugathadasa today, Mr. Wickremesinghe said his party is ready to participate in the proposed Parliamentary Select Committee to find a political solution.
