One bank gave all banking details of CJ -43 to third parties even without a court order and that was the basis of financial charges that were based on impeachment. to add salt to injury , CEO of the bank at that time gave evidence! at Impeachment inquiry relating to the banking details of then Chief Justice of country.So what 'banking secrecy'is learned Prof is talking in SL . He is either misled or not aware of our recent history(of course he did not teach history).Black money may come to SL but its impact is more.Unlike JR's time we are now signatory to BASEL 1 and II and also international convention against trans national crimes , including Convention of Terrorism, Anti corruption and Bribary convention etc which regulate our Financial Crimes.If we want to attract genuine salary earners money some incentive should be given for those who bring and keep that money in SL for at least 5 years.We are a nation that does not learn from past!</blockquote>
