See this article about Rhododendron arboreum in Wikipedia. Does anyone know more about it? Another article says Sita flower. I used translation and I got "Sita story centered on the versions, in the case of Sri Lanka, with the name of the flower was born. Ravana, Sita is considered to have the jail space (Sita Amman Temple, Nuwara Eliya) trees are found. Its leaves contain a clear kanakkutiyavaru axons. It is believed that Sita was formed by the removal of the suffering."

I like to more about it. Anyone know Ravana -Sita story much, specially in Lanka's context?

I got a better translation from a friend. It says....

Sita flower and its story are based on Ramayana epic. There are many tree in Sita amman temple in Nuwara Eliya. The place is believed that Sita have been captive in that location by Ravana. Leafs' veins are clear visible since it removed grief from her.
