    IRT: Deadliest Roads

Rick Yemm, Alex Debogorski, and Lisa Kelly traveled to India and put their driving skills to the test on the narrow, treacherous mountain roads that lead from Delhi to Shimla, then up to a hydroelectric dam construction site in the Himalayas. Alex quit in the first episode and was replaced by Alabama trucker Dave Redmon. As the season continued, the drivers were dispatched to carry supplies over the stormy Rohtang Pass to the town of Keylong, which had been cut off for months due to the bad weather.

National Geographic - Apocalypse: The Second World War

pocalypse tells us about this huge conflict through the tragic destiny of those who went to war (soldiers) those who suffered from it (civilians), and those who ran it (political and military leaders). The "horrible yet familiar" war led to the deaths of 50 million men and women across the world - making for the first time as many civilian victims as there were military casualties

A marvel of top-secret technology and security, Air Force One has flown U.S. presidents more than 7 million miles around the world. With exclusive access, National Geographic joined the crew of Air Force One to document everything from the presidents suite and kitchen galley to Secret Service travel preparation and flight strategy. For a very special mission, we also joined President George W. Bush’s January 2008 Middle East trip to witness the commanding presence of the most iconic plane in the world.

    Naked Science: Journey To Jupiter

    3842_Naked_Science_jupiter-7_05320299.JPG

Large enough to swallow 1000 Earths, Jupiter is a 90,000 mile wide ball of gas and liquid. Surrounded by 63 moons it is a solar system in miniature. But this is a system of extremes; volcanic plumes rise hundreds of miles into space, storms the size of the Earth rage for hundreds of years, and strange motions beneath icy surfaces hint at a possibility of life. The Galileo probe overcame many trials to become the first craft to orbit an outer planet. It made amazing discoveries that shifted the way we view how the solar system formed and found the first evidence of liquid water on the icy moon Europa. New missions are set to return to the gas giant to find out more. Join Naked Science as we delve beneath the cloud tops to reveal the mysteries on this Journey to Jupiter.
