WASHINGTON - A U.S. warplane failed to follow all operational rules in a complex battle in Afghanistan last month that killed an estimated 26 civilians and 78 Taliban fighters, the U.S. military concluded in a report released Friday.

The report said the investigation "does not discount the possibility that more than 26 civilians were killed in this engagement." It noted that a separate investigation by the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission, published on May 26, cited as many as 86 civilian casualties.

    Yeah!

And what's funny if you watched the BBC news this morning, they were talking to some official in US about the situation and the BBC correspondent suddenly spit out the most ironic set of words...

"It must be very hard because the Afgan fighters are also known to use human shields...." (I dont remember the exact words he said, but this is what he meant, he did use "Human Shield")

Would you believe it? Disgusting to say the least...

considering Al Queda has links with LTTE, it is possible they shared operational info.
Since the biggest bully in the yard is involved, nobody has the balls to speak out.

It seems the so called COMPLEXITY is actually some militia hiding behind a human shield! :P

Well, Afgan govt. figures put the number at 140~ it seems, US says 26 but they are not saying no to a higher number!

Hey.. that's a nice trick man... lets take some responsibility and keep the options open!! HAHAHA , and here's another theory..

If US, UK invloved its COMPLEX, if we are involved its DOWNRIGHT IGNORANCE! HOWZAT?

yea bloody shit. theres not much difference between white masters and peelam tamils..
Afgan/Pakis both govts now are crying because they agreed to get allied forces there ...i think more civilians, allied army-men and women die more than talibans in allied fire! it reminds me of vietnam when i hear things like this, because in the end afgan/paki people will take weapons against allied forces
and allied forces will have to flee a bloody defeat
all they can do is to nuke :P

hena gahalath madi... there is no difference between al-qaeda & ltte... all are terrorists... why they only support ltte... all bocoz of their vote base... most of the tamil in us this time support for barrack obama/clinton... so this us govt always support ltte for sure...
