Here’s a quickie for your already questioning brain – Reiki in a nutshell is the Universal Life Force Energy (English translation - Reiki is a Japanese word)……too mind boggling?...Let me break it down =)
Everything around you is energy, from all things invisible and immobile, everything is energy…even you with the extra God given add – on’s.
In this day and age, lets face it you and I live hectic lives, which causes us to be a harbor of so many mixed energy’s, some positive, some negative which we acquire from day to day transactions with life, work and relationships.
The practice of Reiki brings the body into harmony by relieving physical and emotional blockages and eliminates the effects of the energy imbalances amongst many other things such as improving relationships, spiritual protection, helping us out with our careers, studies and businesses.
It also helps you to heal yourself and your loved ones, even if there are 7 seas apart from you, after all it is a channeling of Universal energy through you and that IS a big deal!
You probably might be wondering, is this only limited to holy or religious people?
You don’t need to be a holy, know-it-all to be a Reiki practicioner, all you need is a heart that cares, a desire to heal and a drive to help.
Like I mentioned earlier, everything around is energy and the universe is rich and abundant with life energy ; Reiki is not religious, hence doesn’t conflict with any religious or spiritual belief/s.

About the Master
Mrs. Mohanie Ahangama (Reiki & Seichem Grand Master) is a practitioner and teacher of alternative healing energy’s for the past 10 years, providing Reiki healing to clients and Reiki courses to those who wish to learn.
She is also a qualified Health Visitor with a Nursing and Midwifery background trained in the United Kingdom and has worked in these areas for 20 years in the U.K. & she has been conducting Pre Natal Education programmes in Sri Lanka at her Pre Natal Education Center.
Apart from that she is a qualified health and fitness instructor who has been trained in the United Kingdom and ICS USA had worked in this field for the past 15years and is the Owner and Managing director of two health and fitness centers in Colombo & Mt . Lavinia.
