rep power is something like the stars you possessed before this new EK themes came into play lol each member is given a star according to his/her years of being registered to ElaKiri!
as for me i've got 3 since its been 3 years from the date of ma registration!

Well
We all know that we can add or reduce reputation for a post
Rep power means how many reputation that u'll be adding

As Ex- Rep power 2 means
that u can add 2 reputation points at a time

In my case its 4

alright, till you posted this we thought rep power is based on seniority!
since you joined in 2007 and you possess 4 points , it is no more correct!

Rep Power 1 gana mama kalinuth pahadili kireemak kara. Rep Power gananayata sada keepayak hethuwenawa.

1.Register Date Factor (Join wela tiyena dawas ganana)
2.Post Count Factor (Posts ganana)
3.Reputation Point Factor (Rep Points sankyawa)
