Resell Value of Apple Products

I purchased this Apple Macbook Pro in 2015 for around 335,000 LKR

Recently, I replaced the Display for Free of Charge and and Apple refreshed its warranty for another 3 years according to the consumer law in Australia !!

Today I sold it for around 245,000 in rupees.

After 2 years of usage I only lose around 90,000 (27% from original value) for this laptop !!!

The one who has purchased is a fool as extended warranty expires in 1 year. 245000 is a good deal for you but remember money itself depreciate Anyway 335 in 2015 is much worth than 2017, so depreciation is more than 27%

I am using mac pro since 2014 now warranty is expired still works

Not 1 year machan,

whether you believe it or not, 3 year counts from the day of repair. Also it covers everything except accidental damages.

No, in your case you do not have it (Mata hithena widiyata),

but in my case, i had only 1 year warranty and didn't bothered to extend it at that time, but, display replacement thing was covered under warranty because it was their manufacturing fault. They have a special program to replace all Ratina displays. staingate.org

Additional 3 years of warranty is to cover Australian consumer laws and stipulations (As they told me,).
