Respiratory diseases due to air pollution

    A known person switched from public transport to his own vehicle. When he was traveling by public transport, he had always cough. However following switching to his personal vehicle, no cough.
    I realized the significance of the effect of air pollution to respiratory diseases from this instance. Furthermore, I observed that the Indian busses in the road are the main contributing vehicle for the air pollution.

    I assume he is having a dust allergy.

    BTW if the Colombo traffic continues like this, most people might get chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
