After all, you’ve seen this guy before. For all you Twi-hards out there, you should know that he doesn't need to be Edward Cullen to have total sex appeal. Team Jacob will soon realize that R. Pattz proves his worth as an actor and a stud without having supernatural powers. I don’t want to give away too much of the plot, but this movie is really about love, the importance of family, and living a passionate life like each day is the last. <img src="http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/6995/orig10582831.png" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /> We can't always relate to family tragedies like a suicide, or a parent figure passing away, but anyone with a heart can grasp the importance in a relationship between two people who have shared and suffered through similar fates. Sometimes we get too caught up in our own heads to remember the purpose of life and it takes having a special connection with one person to remember that our existence is not pointless- that who you are and what you do in life does actually matter. You will adore the character Caroline Hawkins, who is played by the young actress Ruby Jerins. Caroline is the younger sister of Tyler Hawkins (Pattinson) and she is also one of the most powerful parts in the film. Tyler and Caroline rely on eachother for life support, but Caroline is eager for love from her father (Pierce Bronson) and Tyler is also seeking direction and perspective, he just doesn't know what he needs. At the begining of the film, Tyler Hawkins (Pattinson) struggles to connect with his father, he doesn't find happiness in living up the college life with his roomate Tate Ellington (Aidan Hall), his sister is his pride and joy, and the library is his safe haven away from disaster. Emilie De Ravin who plays Ally Craig, brings light and smiles into Tyler's life and the film. Ally (De Ravin) eats her dessert before she eats her dinner, because what if the world (her world) ended before she got what she really wanted. I am not really a sweets person, but if dessert was what I really wanted then I would totally see her point about eating it first. Sometimes you watch a movie and you can't relate to any of the hardships or struggles the characters are going through, but it still makes you cry. Other times you find that you have been in similar situations as one of the characters and feel immediately connected. Some people watch movies and just take them for what they are, but don't try to relate. Personally, I am incapable of separating myself from what is on the screen, playing in my headphones, or on the page of the book I am reading. Maybe I am a dramatic person who lets my emotions take over, but I believe that art was meant to reach people and help us connect to one another. I believe it is healthy to let something that someone else created touch you once in a while. If I leave a movie feeling no emotion whatsoever, then in my opinion that movie sucked. Even if it evokes a few laughs it still doesn’t cut it with me. But when I leave the theatre hysterically crying and thinking about nothing but the line "live in the moments," that is the type of movie I would recommend people go see (tissues at hand of course). I just hope that Twilight haters don't stay at home because they fear they’ll be judged for seeing a movie that stars R. Pattz. This film was neither written for nor intended to reach fans of Twilight, but Remember Me might just open the eyes of those who think they aren’t impressionable.
