Romanized Sinhala alphabet
It is a great pleasure to announce that we have perfected the romanized alphabet of Classic Sinhala. It has the rarest characters of Sanskrit and their correct descriptions. Sounds (phonemes) of Sinhala, Pali and Sanskrit are fully represented by this alphabet. Please be aware that this work is Patent Pending in the United States and is protected by the International Patent Cooperation Treaty.
Dual-script Sinhala
Dual-script Sinhala is Sinhala text that is able to be viewed and edited either in Latin characters or Sinhala characters. We developed template fonts for the Sinhala side of Dual-script Sinhala. Essentially, the underlying Unicode code-points of Dual-script Sinhala is romanized Sinhala. Therefore, in the absence of the Sinhala font, the text would fall back to readable romanized Sinhala.
The Smart Fonts could be developed to represent different orthographies of the Sinhala script such as Pali, Early 20th Century, Post mechanized typesetting, Modern Sinhala, Elu etc. A special feature of an orthographic font is the ability to flag inputs that violate rules of the orthography. We need partners to collaborate in developing the templates for orthographic fonts.

This is a public service site and it needs help to grow. We are looking for partners (especially from Sri Lanka) such as contributors of Sinhala folk stories, study courses, or any other material useful for learning and understanding the Sinhala language and culture. You won't believe this and therefore even not give it second thought if we say RS is SUPERIOR to Unicode Sinhala. against the government agency called ICTA and Colombo University.

There are MANY reasons that support our contention that Romanized Sinhala:
1. RS is Dual-scripted. It could be read in both Latin characters as well as in Sinhala characters. A distinction only Sinhala has:

2. It could be used on any out-of-box computer, you select US-International keyboard and type away!

3. It uses smartfonts that follow different orthographies that almost help you to write correctly and has an alphabet intuitive to type

4. RS is in the Single-byte character space (SBCS) like English and 13 other western European languages -- the aristocracy of the digital world. RS is the 15th member of this elite club!
5. Unicode is in Double-byte Code Space (DBCS) and needs special and yet undeveloped programming functions (Google 'DBCS SBCS' and learn yourself). Do you think rich kids in Colombo who do not understand what self-reliance means will actually care about Sinhala to program for it?
6. Unicode Sinhala does not support the complete Sinhala alphabet. It was designed by an American Font Maker and because Lankan officials who rubber stamped it do not have any respect for Sinhala (obviously) and did not bother to go even to the nearest Buddhist temple or the Christian church that would have shown their mistake. As a result, Sinhala cannot properly support Pali or Sanskrit.
7. Unicode Sinhala is not a true character system for digital processing but a character drawing system following a fantasy called Abugida invented by an American that wanted to make money by selling a book.
