Russel Arnold, the Sri Lankan middle-order batsman, has announced that he will retire from international cricket after the World Cup. Saturday's final at Barbados will be Arnold's last match for Sri Lanka, if selected. He will continue to play domestic cricket for the Colombo-based Nondescripts Cricket Club.

Hopefully Malinga will mature to become the leading pace bowler and some spinner will come along. Sanath didn't bat yesterday and we still won. We just need sensible batting in the middle to win matched, not like the match against Australia.

Malinga will, but the question is whether he will fit enough to retain in the team for long? he is a genuine fast bowler with an ackward action and a long runup, not like chaminda vass who has a slow runup. I think Maharoof will be a better option. Upul Tharanga will fit into sanaths boots for sure. The biggest loss will be MURALI.

We couldn't do anything about those decisions.lot of players (senior) will get retired after the final.
But if we won this world cup it'll be a great milestone of players and also srilankan cricket

He''l eventually slow down and concentrate more on the line and length. :) But that wouldn't be that enjoyable, would it?
