Salar de Uyuni
With its surface of more than 10.000 km ², Salar de Uyuni is the salt desert of the world. In the south-east of Bolivia, this natural wonder is perched with 3.650 meters of altitude. Billion small salt crystals forms this desert, and in February, it is covered with water (a score of centimetres at most), which gives him the effect of a mirror. The sky and the Earth are reflected perfectly and it then becomes impossible to distinguish the horizon. The optical illusions, throughout the year, surprise the not warned tourists.
