How do I check my balance after a transaction? I know that you can call the card centre, but is there an easier way? What about the currency conversion?

I did the same thing, but I opted to collect it from the bank. I deposited 5,000, when I got it the total was 4,500 so I'm guessing the 200 (+tax) must have been deducted. I too don't have any account with Sampath Bank.
Call & find out, you'll get your card!

PayPal verification code for Sampath web Card

I buy things on e-bay regularly.. (Using Sampath Web card )

You can link the web-card in the PAYPAL account. Then, they will ask for a security code which will appear in statement.(To link the card, there should be a balance of at least Rs. 1000 - 2500 should be available)

Then you can call the sampath card centre and ask for the code by providing your identification details.

Once you enter the security code, paypal will register the card under your name. Then you can pay for stuff bought in e-bay.

Unlike in a normal credit card, you should make sure that the amount is available in your web-card since it's a pre-paid one.

Web-card is the safest way to do transactions online !

Yeah.I used it to verify PayPal!

No annual amount its free.
u wnt get any interest for that
first u have to pay 2500 or more,
2500 is the minimum and it will b the balance of ur account (2500)
