I buy things on e-bay regularly.. (Using Sampath Web card )

You can link the web-card in the PAYPAL account. Then, they will ask for a security code which will appear in statement.(To link the card, there should be a balance of at least Rs. 1000 - 2500 should be available)

Then you can call the sampath card centre and ask for the code by providing your identification details.

Once you enter the security code, paypal will register the card under your name. Then you can pay for stuff bought in e-bay.

Unlike in a normal credit card, you should make sure that the amount is available in your web-card since it's a pre-paid one.

Web-card is the safest way to do transactions online !

    Hope this helps....!!! ;)

    You can.

You can get a card for 5,000 and deposit any amount as you like. There is no limit to deposit. But it is better to deposit the amount you want to pay.

What I do is, First I put the books to the shopping cart and go up to the final stage of delivery. Then I check the pay amount and deposit that amount. When I come home, it is updated, so I can complete the purchase...

na machan mama kiwwe ape bank account eken salli dana eka nemey.

in ternet eke mokak hari sell karala kata hari e money ape card ekata eyata pay karanna puluwanda?

    As a buyer :
It's just like Dialog KIT or Mobitel Smart Pre-paid. Anybody can top up the card and use the balance...

I have used it to pay for CIMA, etc...

    As a seller :
Then you need to have an account in PAYPAL and have the web-card linked to it. Once you sell an item, the money will be credited to your paypal account and pay-pal will credit the web-card. Then you can use it.

If you want to withdraw money, you need a CREDIT CARD. Web-cards are only for on-line transactions.

    Hope this helps... ;) ;)
