Sangeetha sacrifices hair for Uthpalawanna
In an unprecedented move, popular film star Sangeetha Weeraratne last week shaved her head to play a significant character in Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne’s newest movie ‘Uthpalawanna’ produced by the Sumathi Group on behalf of Sumathi Films.
Shooting schedules of the film began last week in Thantrimale.
These exclusive pictures show the different stages of the episode before Sangeetha plays the role of a Dasa Sil Meni in the first scene with a fully shaven head.
Screen queen Malani Fonseka, child artiste Sandali Welikanna and others also took part in the first scene.
