They have become terrorist because our faults from our independence in 1948. LTTE, GOSL, India, IC, or UN...no one really cares about the civilians. Each of these actors has their own agenda and work accordingly without any hesitation. The civilians are all that they have as a bargaining chip. What do YOU think is going to happen during the ceasefire? They will either use it to gather arms from other places/flea to other locations or use the civilians to get supplies to them selfs where the poor civilians end up getting nothing. Theres really no choice but to finish what was started & since violence has been chosen as the code of conduct, it should end with that. I don't really much like the current government nor politics in general but at least something is done to the point where LTTE are now scared that they are going to loose. OUR armed forces can do it & they do it fairly humanly whilst taking time & effort not to cause too much suffering to the innocent. Otherwise, they could have deployed a few bombing techniques & a number of other strategies to just flatten the place & get rid of the left over LTTE in a few short days! There is no other solution other than the current solution. The only way for anyone to stop the suffering is to finish it off by OUR forces or the LTTE to come clean by laying down there bloody weapons. India can go suck a raw lemon while thinking about their many problems including Kashmir border.
