July 16, Colombo: Saudi Arabian Embassy in Colombo has so far not issued the necessary visas for the Sri Lankan team, including the Deputy Foreign Minister, to enter Saudi Arabia to discuss the death sentence imposed on Sri Lanka House maid Miss Rizana Nafeek.

“The visa applications were made a week ago and the delay is yet to be explained,” a Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

Sad , but there's always another side to the story..If that women decided to rob & kill someone, i guess she'll have to suffer the consequenses too..

That girl was just 17 years old when this happened, and according to reports she was just the maid, looking after babies was not included in her job scope and she had to work until late night and again wake up @ the dawn and also she had to take care of more than one baby and house work.....

There is no other side in this story.. the only other side is who let this small girl let out of the country to be a maid @ such a small age... where are government laws.. these kind of fraud agencies should be taken care of!!!!

And this is not the 1st time, for this year already 3 Sri Lankans beheaded (as I know) without a fair trial!!!! And this will soon be the 4th one!!! Where is the justice????
