Eye Care

This
info' is sure to help PC users very much. During a recent visit to an optician,
one of my mail friends was told of an exercise for the eyes by a specialist
doctor in the US
that he termed as 20-20-20." It is apt for all of us, who spend long hours
at our desks, looking at the computer screen. I Thought I'd share it
with you. 20-20-20

Step
I

:-After
every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your head and try to
look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This changes the focal length
of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes.

Step
II

: - Try
and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them.

any way does this incloudes for a lcd monitor also...

Definitely. It's not the monitor that's causing the harm. It's because you are staring at something without blinking your eyes often. You have to refresh eyes otherwise it will get dry and that's when the things start to go bad.

Same with me! But I think glares on screen are also harmful. Whatever I think the screen filters are a must

Yeah!! I was gonna say tht!! Difference btwn LCD n CRT in the aspect of eyes is tht CRT emitts radiation tht r nt good 4 eyes while LCDs don't.... + LCDs don't refresh in the way tht crts does so u'll fell tht u r looking at a still image....
