'Whichhunt' against SB
Deputy General Secretary, MP Lakshman Seneviratne, has accused Dissanayake of initiating a reform campaign with hidden agendas, Jayawardhene told BBC Sandeshaya.
He said the UNP is 'actively' engaged in carrying out reforms.
Jayawardhene denied that the UNP has started a witchhunt against those camapinged for reforms after leader Ranil Wickramasinghe lost the November 2005 presidential elections.
Dissanayake, who was imprisoned for prejudice, lost his parliamentary seat as a result.
A close supporter of the former President Kumaratunga, he crossed over to the UNP in 2000 forcing Kumaratunga to call a snap election.
