A hacker managed to get into some of Vercel’s private systems by using a weak point in a small AI tool called Context.ai. This tool was connected to a staff member’s Google account. By taking control of the login key (OAuth), the hacker was able to see internal data. While Vercel says most customers are safe and the website is working fine, this shows how dangerous it can be to connect AI tools to company data.There is a difference between saying "entire attack was by AI" vs "weakness in the AI tool got exposed causing the breach".</blockquote>
