I'm really disappointed. Mary's death was not well done. I'm fine that it happened, I'm just furious on how poorly it was executed. It lacked the should be immense emotional impact of a character dying. What is the point of Mary leaving, only to be brought back in London? Narrative wise, it was a mess. I blame this on poor writing. Her death was so cliche'. I can't believe I'm saying this but Sherlock went to soap opera territory with the whole I'll take a bullet for you scene. FYI, Gatiss wrote this episode. Hopefully, the next 2 episodes will be better. But cinematograhy wise, it was still impressive. Sherlock is a genius, Mary is a spy. It's quiet impossible how they both had no idea John was cheating. And honestly, it was so out of character for John to be cheating on Mary who basically saved him from himself after Sherlock died/faked his death. I still and will always love this show.
