Amnesty International has many reasons for calling for an immediate moratorium on executions in China. One of them is the complete failure of China’s criminal justice system to guarantee anyone a fair trial. In a recent report, Amnesty International details how the Chinese government routinely abuses national laws and international standards in the course of executing thousands of people each year. The rights of individuals facing the death penalty are violated at every stage of legal proceedings. In the circumstances, innocent people undoubtedly have been and will continue to be executed.

U totally understood me!!!

I don't trust the gov, and this can happen in our country as well! I know that for sure!!!
There are so many unsolved cases, like hell they will do it right now when death penalty is also legal.
It brings too many fire on the table, and we are not ready to burn our fingers!!

Beside we don't have the right to kill, let someone creep his life out, and think about his failures. Long life put in jail is for me the right answer than ending somes life!!!

And there are so many mistakes maken, even in US, where in some states its legal. After someone is death by the death penalty, they investigate the case again, and the conclusion was he wasnt the right one. So they killed an innocent man!!

I don't think SRi lanka is ready and that well organised to have a death penalty system!
Long or short, our people is going to abuse it anyway!

you never know who you are gna hang ...how can one be so certain that somebody is definity guilty and deserve it. what if you are mistaken? so no. ..i know lots of guys who deserve it are out there..but no..the risk of ending somebody's life who don't deserve it is not worth it.
