Is racism rasing its head in Sri lanka? in EK Every week at least one thread is opened by some people(Im not sure thire real intentions) bashing tamils or else bashing Muslims,should we use this community site to build good relations among deferent ethnic groups in sri lankans or to damage the good relations among the deferent ethnic groups who live in sri lanka and keeep this country as a war torn nation for ever?I dint decide to post this question only coz matters in EK but outside the virtual world too I have been experiencing it,from my school days to this moment? I'm sory if my question hurt the majority of peace loving Sinhalese brothers,I just want to know ur opinion for better tommorow?

Yup Brother@!!Racism is something I Seriously hate..!!I have faced so many problems!!And was pissed so many time in EK itself!!After few incidents i thought of ignoring those threads..!Thats easier and relaxing!!

Now im afraid that this also will turn into a racism thread

There's some religious extremists in EK.. They always show that they are very religious but otherhand hate other religions.. some people in EK think that those extremists are real heroes..its such a joke.. we can measure about their religion by how they behaved... So truly I hate those buggers... Sometiems I wonder how administration allowed to do such things in EK...

first talking about the national identity is not a racism...

second , the protection of indigenous peoples rights is not a racism...

the sinhala buddhist tradition is the cultural base of this country...As the islamic arab culture is the base of many arab nations...SO as Iraqis protecting their national rights , the Sinhala nation also have right to protect its basement..

From the early times the national resistance was based upon the "sinhala" tradition...From great kings Dutu gemunu, Gajaba, Keerthi vijayabahu to Veera KEppetipola, the sinhala blood has shown its noble and strong endemic national quality...

Noone can deny that....

U right bro the real hero is not a person who preaches divide and rule he should preach to unite and rule,

yes you must respect the SLs unique Sinhala Buddhist tradition...

and yes we all must respect the "sri lankan" national identity..

BUT....!

as we underlined many times. The extremist actions against the sinhala buddhist identity can not tolarate any more... (what ever extremist action against the whatever racial or religion group is not a good thing...)

1- the illegal occupation of the buddhist ancient sites must be stopped( deegawapee, kuragala etc..)

2-the promotion of separatism based upon the racial demographics must stop (Tamil Eelamism and eastern "muslim"separatism promoted by the Oluvil convention...etc so ferial must go home without doing dirty politrics....we dont want to see that she will end her miserable life as her loving husband)

3- stop sponser the anti national political programes

if not the history will take its inevitable course..
The sad thing is, when the politics get changed in to the armed conflict...
