When Mr. Bill Gates of Microsoft came to Sri Lanka he had signed an agreement with the President to release the Sinhalese Version of WINDOWS XP as JANEL XP by the end of this year.
Subsequently, they gave a demo on Sinhalese Version of WINDOWS
