Whereas, kiri-puthas letter, shown below, would be a better one for the Z sound as it looks similar to ස.<img src="http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/3238/20111227233821.png" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /> One person suggested the letter for the Z sound could even look something like a ස with the arm attached to the top right of ජ attached to ස and I humorously suggested a ස with an English letter z written in the middle of ස. <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/lol.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":lol:" title="LOL    :lol:" data-shortname=":lol:" /> After a lengthy discussion with these people, I think the second letter put forward by kiri-putha would be a great letter for the Z sound.Although, from what I saw in an earlier post from sriboysl, I think that sriboysl's letter was actually drawn up by some Sinhala language experts and hopefully someday, kiri-puthas letter will be suggested to these same experts and maybe that will be the one that gets added in the Sinhala alphabet. </blockquote>
