good side :
*Some fresh , talented newbies were introduced to the field of music industry.
*As a reality show, It marked it self in the history of srilankan television industry.
*SSS made an Impression so powerful that, evey single television channel in sri lanka started copiyng SSS.
bad side :
* the competitors selected in the last round was used as trade marks for certain people & certain companies.. which nearly washed away their own independance
& talents.
(shihan mihiranga was the first one to uncover this injustice. he has said in an interview, that he has made an agreement with a certain company. and according to their agreement. he's not allowed to cut his long hair for a certain time.. I saw this article a year ago...)
* SMS polling is a fine way to select winners from a competition. I agree to that.
But when It came to sss.. things were different. (I;m talking about last year. because the present competition is still on air...) Most people voted shihan but he was thrown out. no one knows why.
Well that's my Idea about sss. I spoke about things which happened last year.
But who knows.. may be this year. things would be different.. and sss may choose a real peoples super star. I've seen these good attemts by sirasa in the present competition. we have to admit them without hesitation. Right?
good side :

sirase superstar is a very gud program it gives a chance to the youngsters n the begginer a new chance but the thing is that the whole stories goes bad the way they select n the judges are lose
