However, getting back to the question which you asked me.
As I pointed out to you, Sirasa is only a Mere spec of dust in the Maharaja Orginization. Eventhough it would be as it is, the whole orginization is well defended by a fortress of the best lawyers and the rumors have it they even have his lord ship CJ in the check list as well.(though I cannot confirm for exact about that)
To sack a TV station, either you have to file an infrigment case against them OR you have to sue them for braking Telicommunications and regulations laws prevailing in this country.
Please note that the word "YOU" is specifically meant the "Government" because YOU as a normal citizen cannot sue a communication orginization unless otherwise you suffer personal losses.
The government is trying their best ! trust me.. they do. As of the last I heard, Keheliya has formed a panel of 12 presidental lawyers to find a fault of Maharaja Communication Network and bring them down.... but it has been nearly 8 month and they have come up with nothing.
Now you should as the question WHY NOT ?
Becasue they are THAT FIT and FINLY TUNED into what they broadcast and they CHECK each and every line / para / show / news report before anything goes online.
As far as I know, Sirasa, MTV and their sister radio network is the MOST law abiding network in Sri Lanka.
But as you asked.... YES OF COURCE you can talk about it. I am not saying NO.
All I was doing was just clearing out some fog and showing somethings which didn't know.
Adding something to my earlier post and of cource something on a personal note.
Those 8 people I have noted there, I know about 5 them on a formal basis. All I can say about those people are (including Maharaja) THEY ARE NOT TIGERS ! Whether you like to believe it or not. (which is non of my concern)
