Six more bodies were found by the military in Ambegama, close to Thanamalwila. The bodies are yet to be identified.

Three civilians killed by LTTE in Thanamalwila...

Three civilians were killed in Kaluwelgala in Thanamalwila police area by the LTTE. The civilians were accompanying a team of soldiers in order to show them a place where they had seen a group of LTTE cadres.

Thanamalwila death toll rises to 10...

Military found one more body of a civilian a short while ago bringing the total death toll of the Thanamalwila incident to ten. The military is continuing with their search operations in the area.
