I'm looking for someone who's really good in the field of repairing electronics items, TVs n such. My computer powers supply unit (BFGTech ES-800) has a problem and I want to get it repaired if possible.

Any recommendations? Even places that charge a lot are okay if they do a good job.

Thanks in advance. I apologize for the repost. Just wanna get my machine up and running asap.

I took the PSU to a guy in Katubadda (http://www.microvisionelectronics.blogspot.com/) who was willing to check it at least. :) He tested it and couldn't find anything wrong. I tested it then and there with my old comp and it worked. So I brought it home and connected the new computer 1 part at a time. It works ok now.
I think the UPS may've had a hand in the fiasco as well. Gonna get that checked out.

Anyhow, thanks for your help!

@ Bloodlust..

Can you give me the UL number of the PSU? Because BFG never made a PSU.Just rebranding.

FYI There are no replaceble IC/Triac/transistors in PSUs as their numbers are erased.Generic PSUs can be repaired coz of normal day to day parts. So I am like 90% sure you cant repair it in LK only screwing up.

How to find UL:

Glad it worked out fine.
I wonder what actually was the problem. Maybe a speck of dust causing an instability on a converter IC causing it to hallucinate whenever current passed through it LOL
