While users can  login, they cannot get their accounts to show as online. Skype users  around the world are unable to connect to the network that Microsoft  just bought for $8.5 billion. Do they have Carfax for VOIP products? When I say "down for most users", I mean "I can't find  anyone anywhere who's able to use Skype at the moment". While Skype.com  loads, that doesn't help you much. If you have Gmail, Google Docs, AIM, iChat, or MSM, give 'em a try until Skype gets fixed. For now, though, Skype is down.</blockquote>
