It is no secret this is because of the SF factor and blah blah blah.....I noticed looking at the latest Army website pictures where the Commander was attending a rugby game and an exhibition his personal body guards have changed. Traditionally the Commando regiment or Maroon berets guarded the army boss. It is highly unusual to change that..... can anyone shed some light on that please? (looks like armored corp. currently) One of my family members was an ex-Maroon beret who paid the ultimate price. It's a bit of a slap in the face when the army becomes politicized.... most surprisingly when the Commandos don't watch over the Army commander.</blockquote>
