The Sri Lankan Government has issued an official statement on behalf of Sri Lankan Rapper DeLon praising DeLon for his efforts of peace and unity through music. Consul General, Dr. Hector Weerasinghe spoke on behalf of the Sri Lanka Government and the people explaining how DeLon has been "instrumental in bringing global attention to our country."
Dr. Weerasinghe also made very clear that all video's lurking on the web that claim DeLon was arrested for any crime are down right false and defamatory to his character. Dr. Hector Weerasinghe states "any allegations of crimes or wrong doings are falsehoods, rumors, and tactics being used to vilify his character."
