Message: <blockquote data-quote="lkdood" data-source="post: 12202233" data-attributes="member: 92282"><img src="http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT1Gu3_KswAGKYJ8N6mQbirDAIatyDrkHTGQIU3Dqzf1aQHH3DJzQ" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />The Sri Lankan delegation  is ready to answer  any questions the member states of the United Nations Human Rights  Council (UNHRC) have on the alleged human right violations, the head of  the delegation Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe has said.    The President's Special Envoy on Human Rights, Minister  Samarasinghe has told the state-run television ITN that Sri Lankan  delegation will be talking to Western countries face-to-face at the  ongoing 19th sessions of the UNHRC in Geneva, Switzerland.   The Minister has said that the delegation is ready to hold discussions with the member states planning   to bring a resolution against Sri Lanka at the sessions and they should  be given an opportunity to do so to apprise the proponents of the  resolution of Sri Lanka's measures to address their concerns and clear  any doubts.   Although many member nations have expressed support to Sri Lanka,  the discussions would allow Sri Lanka to provide a wide response, the  Minister has said.   "If they planned to further stick on to their stand, then it could  be considered that their agenda is different," he has said adding that  the supporters of the resolution were attempting to debilitate the  hardly achieved stability by Sri Lanka.   The Minister has said that the delegation is also given a time slot to meet the Non-Aligned Movement.   The resolution, backed by the United States and Western European  members, is expected to press Sri Lankan government to promptly  implement the recommendations made by the domestic panel, Lessons Learnt  and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC), and address the accountability  issue.
