Eight senior LTTE cadres of the 'Charles Anthony' band were also among the terrorists killed  during this gun battle, the report added. The senior LTTE Terrorists killed during fierce battle were identified as Pallavan, Ambumani, Selvakannan, Sellappu, Muhi, Illambu, Sudar and Jenathan who were at the commanding level of the 'Charles Anthony' band in Mannar sector. LTTE outfit have given self-styled rank of "Lieutenant Colonel" to the Pallavan and Ambumani, the report further added.
