The prize giving ceremony of the Quran recital in connection with the holly month of Ramazan last year was held at the Ananda Samarakoon studio of the SLBC this morning.
The winners of the contest were awarded prizes and certificates at this function chaired by the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation Hudson Samarasinghe. Speaking at this function the SLBC chairman said that a special Muslim service which would broadcast round the clock will be started on the forthcoming birthday of the holly prophet Mohammed.
