do you need any more explanation on jobs that sliit ppl get

SLIIT is good coz they have lot of practice and tons of real equipments from Cisco.
SLIIT gives CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Academy) Certificate. It never expires but you got to do the industrial CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) which expires every 3 years (as i remember) to qualify as a CCNA from Cisco.

But that Academy programs gives overall network knowledge while Industrial CCNA or so called Associate give more in to Cisco products.

Cisco runs 80% of worlds networks. They have a monopoly bigger than Microsoft when it comes to networks. They are like gods of Networks!
So learning about Cisco products not like product oriented coz they are used world wide and there is no ISP in this world who doesn't have cisco products.

Anyway its up to you. If you wanna get real Network talent and hands on experience do the Academy Program which is around 1 year. Associate you can just study and sit even from 1 month. Its just a exam with MCQ. But jobs ask for that other than the Academy Certificate because its more in to cisco products and managing them in a LAN environment.

people who couldnt get selected to any of them attends to SLIIT! lol

may be machan ...talent can't be measure by a exam ....it can only be measure by the work.... and i went for SLIIT b coz i had no choice ....bt today i'm glad i did that ....

and i knw any SLIIT guy or gal can challenge any other university in Srilanka ....even Moratuwa .....we done that before ...and we will tommorrow.....

Software Quality Assurance is a highly paid job, that requires more skill and experience than the Programmers. You can become a programmer with even SLIIT Diploma not the Degree.

For those who don't understand this SE world, Programmer is like the Laborer, and QA is the Supervisor. So the Supervisor has to me much more qualified than the Laborer!

You work in a Software Company and don't know this simple fact!! Are you from UCSC or Maha Mukalana.

I know a guy in our coven, undergraduate SLIIT. He do classes and lectures, privately for undergraduates in UCSC and Moratuwa Computer Course. Some students in Moratuwa and UCSC even pays him to support in their projects and assignments.

So who is paying money and buying their degree?

if you expect to go a long way in Computer field the better one is UCSC, because SLIIT gives you a rough knowledge only.
