A vehicle of a Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) female candidate for the upcoming provincial council elections was set on fire by unidentified persons in Thulasipura, Trincomalee last night, a spokesman for the Cafe monitoring group said.
The vehicle was set on fire at the candidate Rupika chandani's residence in Thulasipura.
She is the only Sinhala candidate of the SLMC for the district.
