The cost of staying in the hospital is Rs.8800 for a day and the charges for medicines and tests are very high. Meanwhile, opposition for the Government for allowing a terrorist leader to be treated in a hospital in Colombo is mounting. JHU and JVP have expressed their opposition to the Government for the act. Political analysts expressing their views say the act has jeopardized people's lives. The Government says Daya Master's case was considered humanely. Answering a question asked by a journalist at the media meeting held yesterday Minister of Information and Media said the Government was prepared to treat humanly even Velupillai Prabhakaran if he asked for such treatment. The minister also said that tiger organization didn't ask for permission to bring down Daya Master to Colombo for treatment.However, various parties have expressed opposition to this policy of the Government.</blockquote>
