SLT 2MB or 8MB suitable modem ..??

i am using SLT ZTE (ZXDSL 831) single port router with 512 Kb ADSL line....i want to upgrade my ADSL line (2MB or 8MB).. do i have to buy a new router to this new package or can i use continually this modem (router)..

Help me on this Guys..
