Sri Lanka Telecom drops start-up fee for broadband
Oct 04 (LBO) - Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the island's dominant fixed line operator, said it has begun offering free broadband connections in a new promotional campaign.
"With this offer there is no connection fee or start-up fee for broadband connections," a spokesman said.
The price of modems has also been reduced while routers are available at special discounted prices, a statement said.
SLT’s broadband internet products will be offered through SLT’s copper based lines, which also provides access to SLT's PEO TV service.
