I have even switched technologies in my career life and switched companies for lesser salaries sometimes. Do not love the salary, Do not love the company. Love the profession. Now I am a CTO, A consultant and a tech lead in 3 companies at the same time. (Try to become a guy where people cannot live without)Add as many items as you can to the belt and then you will have a tool for everything.That's what I have done.  I had hard times in financially but now I am in a good position.
