i have a small problem tho...i'm a catholic ...i dont feel anything wrong about masturbation but....i have seen on many catholic sites that masturbation is a sin in our religion....
but i have tried to find the answer to my question in the bible and on the internet...

as far as i know there is no direct saying,saying that masturbation is a sin
but on the other hand if i ask this question on a religious site...everybody will start saying its a sin!!!!

So IS IT???or IS IT NOT A SIN???

I think it's not a sin, i'm a catholic too, i dont beleve everything in christianty, but i've heard there is something about this thing in Buddhism NOT SURE

Thou shall not covet...

Thats the main commandment which tells us christians not to do these sorts of things...

Covet means longing for or desiring objects in an "immoral" way... thats the basis in which the church tells us not to masturbate... this is because when masturbating one longs for that certain person; and it is "immoral" since that person particular person is not respected...

This in turn leads us to Jesus' commandment "Love ur neighbour as yourself"... ie respect others like u want to be respected...
