Although it was decided that two  buses were to ply the Southern  Expressway on the 27th of last month, this decision was later changed. The Sri Lanka Transport Board pointed out that there was no space or  area on the highway to attend to a bus if a technical problem were to be  faced.A senior official at the SLTB noted that in such an event the vehicles traveling behind the bus will be inconvenienced.
