BIRDS OF ANDALUCIA
©David J Slater, 2009
I visit this beautiful area of Spain each year. More specifically, the area between Estepona and Ronda, and the coastal range down to Tarifa and La Janda. It is typical Spanish countryside, and whilst not the best in Andalucia (Coto Donana near Cadiz is perhaps the best) it contains a selection of fantastic hot spots for birding and photography.
This collection will keep growing as there are many more targets I've yet to capture on film, but here are a few of my favourite birds that are not often, or never seen in the UK.
